Mason Mount has recently provided an insight into the next goal of Chelsea Football Club.

Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel have, so far, been a match made in heaven.
The German took over from Frank Lampard late in January and has since transformed a previously struggling side into one of the most dominant in Europe.
One of Tuchel’s main issues in his previous role at PSG was his inability to win the Champions League with a star-studded squad.
Yet at Chelsea, he was able to achieve this in less than half a season. The Blues are also one of the favourites to lift the trophy this campaign as well, and are also one of the three sides mounting a proper title challenge in the Premier League at present.
Chelsea’s next goal
And, it is seemingly the Premier League crown that has become Chelsea’s focus going forward.
Speaking recently about the Chelsea squad’s close bond, Mount also went out of his way to say that winning the Premier League is Chelsea’s next goal:
“There are a lot of players coming through from the academy at the moment, and we’ve known each other since we were six, seven, eight years old,
“We’re very close friends on and off the pitch. We’ve known each other a very long time and that helps when you have that close bond. “Along with the other boys as well, we’re definitely like a family; the team is very close together.
“I think that’s what you need if you want to go far in competitions, if you want to win big things and win the Premier League. Obviously, that’s our next goal.”
Chelsea are currently 3rd in the PL. But there are only a few points separating them, Liverpool and Manchester City right now.
And, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane set to leave Liverpool in January for the African Cup of Nations, perhaps Chelsea can regain some ground on at least one of their title rivals.
