The remarkable personnel woes facing Leeds United have continued to mount on Saturday, during the club’s meeting with Arsenal.

Martinelli at the double

Marcelo Bielsa’s men are, of course, currently locked in action at Elland Road.

In the sole Premier League fixture of the day, the Whites have welcomed the aforementioned Arsenal to west Yorkshire, eyeing a much-needed return to winning ways.

To say that, as things stand, things are not exactly going according to plan, though, would be something of an understatement.

A dismal display currently sees the evening’s hosts trailing by two goals to nil, on the back of a brilliantly-taken brace on the part of Gunners talent Gabriel Martinelli:

Harrison joins list of walking wounded

As alluded to above, however, the current scoreline at Elland Road actually marks the least of Leeds’ worries on Saturday.

Heading into his side’s meeting with Arsenal, Marcelo Bielsa was already unable to call upon all of Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips, Pascal Struijk, Liam Cooper, Dan James, Jamie Shackleton, Junior Firpo and Rodrigo.

In turn, it is safe to say that yet another injury concern is the last thing which the Peacocks needed this evening.

But, after a heavy challenge ultimately left Jack Harrison with no option but to limp out of the fray against Arsenal, this is precisely what was forthcoming:
