Liverpool have been dealt some more concerning personnel news on Sunday.

Tottenham vs Liverpool

Sunday’s late Premier League kick-off will see Tottenham and Liverpool face off in north London.

Liverpool head into the game on a fine run of form which has seen them lose just one game all season.

The Reds notched a perfect record in their Champions League group, with their one defeat this campaign having come in the PL, at West Ham.

Elsewhere, they have won 12, drawn four, scored 45 and conceded just 12.

However, the Merseysiders are still only second in the English top-flight at the time of writing.

All of Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho and Curtis Jones had already tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.

Now, as confirmed by Liverpool themselves on Sunday, Thiago and Jordan Henderson are also out of the clash with Tottenham.

Thiago, as reported by Liverpool, is out with covid, whilst Henderson is ill but has not tested positive for covid right now:

Thiago Alcantara will miss this afternoon’s Premier League fixture with Tottenham Hotspur after registering a suspected positive test for COVID-19. Jordan Henderson is also absent because of illness, but has registered a negative test for COVID-19.
