Footage of Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale celebrating in front of the Leeds support in attendance at yesterday’s meeting between the clubs has gone viral across social media.

Martinelli the star of the show

Mikel Arteta’s men returned to action 24 hours ago, making the trip to Elland Road for a Premier League showdown with struggling Leeds United.

The Gunners headed into proceedings brimming with confidence, having recovered from a surprise defeat at Everton with a pair of back-to-back victories over Southampton and West Ham over the course of the last week.

And, when all was said and done in west Yorkshire, the fine stretch of form being enjoyed by Arsenal only continued.

A dominant display ultimately culminated in Arteta and co. emerging on the right side of a 4-1 scoreline, courtesy of goals from all of Gabriel Martinelli (2), Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe:

Arsenal, in turn, have climbed a full four points clear of the chasing pack in the race for 4th in the Premier League.

At Leeds, on the other hand, though, the situation is quickly spiralling out of control.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men now sit in 16th in the English top-flight, just five points clear of the relegation zone despite having played several fixtures more than the likes of Watford and Burnley.

It should therefore not come as all that much of a surprise to hear that, amid yesterday’s action at Elland Road, those of a Whites persuasion in attendance at the clash were not shy in making their frustrations known.

And, as alluded to above, one particular incident, which saw tensions reach boiling point in the stands owing to the trademark wind-up efforts of Arsenal shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale, has since gone altogether viral online:
