Norwich vs Arsenal

Arsenal’s next outing will see them face off with Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday the 26th of December.

The Gunners head into the game on the back of a fine run of form, with their last outing seeing them book a spot in the League Cup semi-finals.

In the league, meanwhile, Arsenal have come through a rough patch and have now picked up three wins in a row.

This saw the north Londoners climb up to 4th in the Premier League table and four points clear of West Ham, who have played one game less.

However, both Manchester United and Tottenham can overtake Arsenal should the pair win their games in hand.

As a result, Mikel Arteta’s side cannot afford a slip up this week vs Norwich, who currently sit bottom of the Premier League with the worst goal-scoring record in the division, netting just eight in 17.

Mikel Arteta on Aubameyang & Lacazette

Ahead of the Boxing Day clash, Mikel Arteta would hold his latest pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

When doing so, Arteta was asked about a possible Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang return. But the Spaniard gave little away:

“We will go game by game. We will decide the squad as we get closer to the game.”

Arteta was also asked about the future of Alexandre Lacazette and had this to say:

“We are really happy with the way he’s performing and acting. He has to continue like this.”
