Tottenham host West Ham with Semi-final place at stake

And while the game has been bright, it remains goalless, with chances at both ends.
It is the Tottenham faithful that have been the far more critical set of fans, however.
Bergwijn feels fans wrath, and adoration, in rollercoaster 45 minutes.
Now, some Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to voice their frustrations with one player in particular, fringe option Steven Bergwijn, in the opening minutes.
The Dutchman has started in place of Son, and it is safe to say that he has failed to impress the Spurs fans, as can be seen below.
Sell bergwijn immediately, guy is a massive liability.

You genuinely can’t put into words how bad Bergwijn is. His 2nd touch is chasing his first touch. Rag

Bergwijn is the worst player to ever put on a spurs shirt terminate his contract now

Bergwijn looks like he has never met the rest of the Spurs XI #coys
— Andy (@palmquac) December 22, 2021
If we had Son on the pitch I’d be a lot more confident, just can’t see Bergwijn having any impact here atm
— Chris (@chrislh777) December 22, 2021
Bergwijn looks finished out there. No confidence whatsoever and makes you realise how lucky we are with Sonny. There’s a player in there, but I don’t think we’ll see it at Spurs
— Lewis (@LewisSpurs90) December 22, 2021
Bergwijn is actually awful
— Ewan (@EwanTHFC) December 22, 2021
please take Bergwijn OFF PLEASE he is awful
— Rastko (@Rakoshii) December 22, 2021
However, 20 minutes later, that opinion had completely changed, with Bergwijn registering both a goal and an assist against the Hammers.
Steven Bergwijn is incredible! #COYS #TOTWHU
