Aston Villa vs Chelsea
Chelsea faced off with Aston Villa on Saturday evening, looking to bounce back from their patchy run of form which had seen them win just one in four league ties.
Such poor form had seen Chelsea knocked off top spot and down to 3rd place, a full nine points behind Manchester City ahead of kick-off vs Villa.
So, it was clear Thomas Tuchel and co. needed to win simply to stay somewhat in the battle for top spot.
And, when all was said and done at Villa Park, Chelsea eventually emerged with a 3-1 win.
Aston Villa did take the lead after 28 minutes via a Reece James own goal. However, Jorginho was able to hand Chelsea an equaliser from 12 yards six minutes later.

Romelu Lukaku then came off the bench to put Chelsea in front, before Jorginho made sure of the win with a second penalty after 93 minutes.

Why Tuchel was angry with Hudson-Odoi.
Though he did not score on the day, Callum Hudson-Odoi looked sharp across the 90 minutes.
The winger won the first penalty for Jorginho to make it 1-1 and also set up Lukaku for his goal on the day.
Despite this, Hudson-Odoi still garnered the anger of his manager vs Villa. This, as per football.london is because Hudson-Odoi tried a blind backheel right in front of the head coach’s technical area and gave the ball away.
This lead to Tuchel jumping up and down on the sideline before turning away in disgust and chuntering away to himself.
