Antonio Conte has set a Tottenham record on Tuesday.
Southampton vs Tottenham
Conte’s Tottenham faced a trip to St Marys’ on Tuesday afternoon for a clash with Southampton.
Spurs headed into the game no doubt fancying their chances of picking up a win against the Saints.
Antonio Conte was yet to a lose a game in the Premier League with the Lilywhites, with the only smudge on his record that 2-1 loss to Mura in the Europa Conference League.
Tottenham had also just held Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to a 2-2 draw in their previous outing.
Despite this, Spurs were unable to pick up a win against Ralf Hasenhuttl’s men.
James Ward-Prowse fired Southampton into the lead after 25 minutes.
Mohamed Salisu then got himself sent off, with Harry Kane converting a penalty two minutes later to bring the game level
This left Tottenham with just over 45 minutes to find a winner against 10 men. However, they were unable to do so and were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.

Antonio Conte sets Tottenham record
Despite not coming away with three points, Antonio Conte did have something positive come from the game – though he is unlikely to see it as such right now.
But, after drawing with Southampton, Conte became the first manager in Tottenham’s history to remain unbeaten in their opening seven league games in charge of the club:
