Leeds United star Junior Firpo has, on Sunday evening, taken to social media, to send a message to all associated with the club.

Leeds 3-1 Burnley

Firpo and co. were, of course, back in action a short time ago.

On the back of a trio of successive Premier League defeats, the Whites welcomed Burnley to Elland Road, for a crunch showdown in the battle against the drop.

And, when all was said and done on Sunday, it was Leeds who came out on top, to climb a full eight points clear of the drop zone.

A much-improved performance ultimately culminated in Marcelo Bielsa’s troops emerging on the right side of a 3-1 scoreline, owing to strikes on the part of all of Jack Harrison, Stuart Dallas and substitute Dan James.

‘Keep fighting’

On the back of a fine day’s work from their side coming to a close on Sunday, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of a whole host of Leeds’ stars being singled out for praise post-match.

Amongst such players have been the likes of Joe Gelhardt, Luke Ayling and goalscorer Dallas, all of whom played central roles in a potentially crucial victory.

A more surprising recipient of such adulation, though, has been Junior Firpo, oft criticised since his summer arrival in Yorkshire from Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

After being hailed by Leeds’ supporters for a much-improved showing against Burnley, though, the Spaniard has since seen fit to send a message of his own back to all associated with the club.

Taking to his official social media accounts a short time ago, Firpo hailed both the Whites’ latest performance, and the atmosphere inside Elland Road, before assuring that Bielsa’s troops fully intend to ‘keep fighting in this way’:
