Declan Rice continues to earn plaudits

West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice is fast becoming one of the hottest properties in the Premier League, if he isn’t already.

The tough-tackling man, whose game also possesses the silky ability to dribble with and pass the ball, has been an integral part of West Ham’s success in the past 12 months, deployed alongside midfield anchor Thomas Soucek.

The 22 year old has become the subject of widespread interest from other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester City, but West Ham have shown no interest in selling their talisman at present, as they look to qualify for European competitions for the second consecutive season.

But, would a 100 million pound bid change that?

The club ready to pay 100 million for Rice

Now, according to reports, one club are ready to bite the bullet and shell out 100 million pounds for the Hammer.

The side in question? Manchester United.

As per the Sun [via Marca], “interim coach Ralf Ragnick has approved the deal to bring the England man to Old Trafford next summer.”

It is a deal that, if done, would likely surpass the 100 million pounds that Manchester City forked out for Jack Grealish in the summer, with Rice overtaking the former Aston Villa man as the most expensive British player in history.

The question is, would Rice be willing to swap London for Manchester? Or will he hold out for interest from other clubs?
