Barcelona linked with Stole Dimitrievski

Barcelona have already signed Ferran Torres in the January transfer window.

And, despite financial woes that forced them to let Lionel Messi depart over the summer and sign Samuel Umtiti to a reduced contract just so they could register Torres, Barcelona still look to be aiming to spend this month.

One player that has been linked is Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski.

Dimitrievski speaks out on Barcelona transfer rumours

Now, in a recent interview, Dimitrievski has been quizzed on these recent links.

However, despite not featuring in Rayo Vallecano’s last two games, which ESPN claim has promoted transfer speculation, the goalkeeper claims he is not aware of any interest from Barcelona amid reports he is on the radar of the Catalan club.

“Hearing things like this makes you feel happy and grateful because surely I have done something good.

“But I’m very focused on working for the team and continuing to add. I do not have any information [regarding Barcelona’s interest] and directly I would not like to know it because it can affect my day to day. I am a very calm and serious person. Barcelona sounds today, Atletico tomorrow, but you have to remain focused. I have train well, play well … and whatever has to come will come. Obviously anyone wants to improve and play for a big team but I’m very focused on Rayo.”

ESPN also report that Dimitrievski went on to explain that he has missed Rayo’s last two games due to a minor injury.
