Real Madrid head into El Clasico on top
This Wednesday marks one of the biggest games of the Spanish football calendar, as Real Madrid and Barcelona go head-to-head in another instalment of El Clasico, this time in the Supercopa de Espana.
Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema have combined for 35 goals and 17 assists this season.

Los Blancos, under the tutelage of Carlo Ancelotti, head into the tie in far better form, sitting atop La Liga, 17 points clear of their upcoming opponents.
And while Barcelona have only fallen to two more losses than their Spanish rivals, their 8 draws have seen them lose massive ground on Real, who themselves have only shared the points on four occasions.

And now, there could be further spice in the occasion.
Isco set to join Barca?
This comes as Spanish press have linked soon-to-be out-of-contract man Isco with a move that was made famous by Luis Figo, albeit in reverse. Swapping on Spanish rival for another.
The Spaniard will be out of contract in the summer of 2022, and therefore he will be able to walk away from Real Madrid for nothing.
And, if El Chiringuito are to be believed, he already has an agreement in place to join them when he does so.

With Barcelona low on funds but looking to rebuild a world-class squad, and Isco well out of the picture in Madrid, the move could well happen.
