Arsenal in midfield crisis
Arsenal are in a crisis in midfield. Granit Xhaka has spent the last week isolating after a positive COVID-19 result, while Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are both away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
This left just summer signing Sambi Lokonga as a senior option against Nottingham Forest, while Arteta was forced into handing youngster Charlie Patino his full debut for the club (though he may well have done anyway).
As a result, speculation has intensified, specifically around Juventus midfield Arthur.
According to recent reports, Arsenal, Juventus, and Arthur are all open to the move.

And while it is not the glamourous signing Arsenal fans were craving, they have been handed some positive reviews about their potential new signing.
“Another Cancelo”
Now, taking to social media, European football expert Carlo Garganese, who covers Serie A football for a range of outlets, has made a claim that Arsenal fans will love about their new potential loanee.
Writing on his own Twitter, he revealed:
“Juventus will regret losing Arthur. There’s a top player in there, all he needs is a modern coach who plays football & asks his centre mids to dominate the ball with short passes”
Better yet, he warned that Juventus could be about to make another massive mistake, saying: “Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s another Cancelo”
