Manchester City host their closest title-challengers Chelsea in the pick of the Premier League fixtures this weekend.

Pep Guardiola’s side could extend their lead in their quest for back-to-back titles, while the north London derby returns on Sunday and Newcastle face a key test of their survival hopes.

Here, 101 Great Goals previews this weekend’s Premier League fixtures and offers the best tips and bets around:

Manchester City vs Chelsea

o – Manchester City 13/20

o – Draw 3/1

o – Chelsea 4/1

Manchester City have the chance to extend their lead over Chelsea to 13 points with an 11th consecutive victory.

Chelsea will be buzzing off the back of their League Cup semi-final win over Spurs, but in the league, their form has been very questionable.

Betting Tip 1: Manchester City to win and both teams to score (12/5 odds).

Manchester City have dominated this fixture over recent times.

The defending champions have won nine of the 13 meetings at the Etihad, whilst the Blues have won just three.

Meanwhile, four of the last seven meetings between the two teams has seen both teams find the back of the net.

Betting Tip 2: Manchester City to win and over 2.5 goals (6/4 odds).

Manchester City have averaged 3.1 goals per game this season so far.

City have also scored a staggering 20 goals in their last five league outings.

Norwich vs Everton

o – Norwich 11/4

o – Draw 5/2

o – Everton 1/1

Norwich have shown little signs of improvement since the arrival of Dean Smith, with the Canaries losing all of their last six league matches.

Everton are in desperate need of a win with Rafa Benitez under big pressure and they will be confident of securing three points as they travel to Carrow Road.

Betting Tip 1: Result/Both Teams to Score: Everton/No (12/5 odds)

Norwich are currently on a run of six straight defeats and despite Everton’s mixed form, a win should be straightforward for the Toffees.

The Canaries have also been really poor in front of goals netting just eight times all season.

Betting Tip 2: Wincast: Dominic Calvert-Lewin To Score First + Everton Full-Time Result (6/1 odds)

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be hoping to announce his return from injury with a bang and he will fancy his chances.

Norwich have conceded a shocking 44 goals and Calvert-Lewin will be keen to add to his tally of three in four matches.

Wolves vs Southampton

o – Wolverhampton Wanderers 5/4

o – Draw 11/5

o – Southampton 12/5

Wolves are starting to knock on the door of European qualification as they are now up to 8th in the table.

Southampton have also impressed over recent weeks having beaten West Ham and Brentford and earned draws against Crystal Palace and Spurs.

Betting Tip 1: Under 2.5 goals (4/7 odds)

Both teams have struggled to score more than once in a match this season.

The Saints have averaged 1.1 goals per match, whilst Wolves have managed an average of 0.56.

Betting Tip 2: Armando Broja to score anytime (13/5 odds)

The Albanian striker has impressed at St Mary’s this season following his move from Chelsea.

The 20-year-old has five Premier League goals this term, including four goals contributions in his last five starts.

Broja also netted in his last appearance for the Saints.

Newcastle vs Watford

o – Newcastle 1/1

o – Draw 13/5

o – Watford 13/5

Newcastle United have managed to get Chris Wood and Kieran Trippier through the door this month as they look to remain in the top flight.

They host fellow strugglers Watford in a match that will have big implications on the bottom three.

Betting Tip 1: Result/Both Teams to Score: Draw/Yes (7/2 odds)

Three of the last five meetings between the two clubs have ended 1-1 and given their similar form this season, another 1-1 draw is likely.

Also, defensively, both sides have been weak this term, with Newcastle conceding an average of 2.2 goals per match and Watford conceding 1.3 goals per match.

Betting Tip 2: To Score Anytime: Emmanuel Dennis (13/5 odds)

The striker has taken very little time to find his feet in the Premier League

He has netted six goals in his last ten league appearances.

Dennis has also found the back of the net against Everton, Manchester United, Leicester, Chelsea, and West Ham.

Aston Villa vs Manchester United

o – Draw 5/2

o – Manchester United 7/5

Villa Park should be rocking on Friday night following the arrivals of both Phillipe Coutinho and Lucas Digne.

Manchester United head to the Midlands following a first Premier League defeat against Wolves.
