Tottenham chase for Traore hitting roadblock
Tottenham have been keen on bringing Adama Traore to north London for the past two transfer windows, but any potential deal seems to be difficult at present.
The wide forward, who Conte would reportedly like to convert to a right wing-back, has just 18 months left on his contract at Molineux. And while Tottenham are pushing for a move, the Wolves manager would like to keep him until the summer.

So, Tottenham may have to look elsewhere.
Spurs turn their attention to Arsenal target
Now, as a possible alternative, it seems that Spurs have turned their attention to Middlesborough full-back Djed Spence.
The defender, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, impressed in a recent third-round tie against Arsenal, so much so that the Gunners are now considering making a move for the right-back.
But, according to Sky Sports, they will have competition from north London rivals Tottenham, who see a chance to strengthen their side on the cheap, after rumours that Antonio Conte is less than impressed with Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty as his current options in that position.

Any deal would likely cost less than a potential move for already Premier League proven Adama Traore, although it is unclear as to whether he would complete his loan move first, or move to north London immediately.
Once again, Tottenham and Arsenal could be set to go head-to-head for a right back. Deja Vu, anyone?
