The result moves Tottenham into 5th, leapfrogging north London rivals Arsenal, and takes them just a point below West Ham with three games in hand on their London rivals in a bid to secure Champions League football for next season.
Tottenham fans make their views clear
And, in the aftermath of the victory, Tottenham fans made their feelings very clear on their current setup. And it seems as if they are keen to see some money spent this January.
Minutes after the full time whistle, both #LevyOut and #BackConte were trending on social media, with fans demanding that the hierarchy give the manager what they want.

Hands down this is one of the worst @SpursOfficial teams I’ve ever seen, the defence is absolutely horrific, not a single player good enough to represent the club, the midfield has zero creativity & the squad is wafer thin, we know the reason why it’s so bad #LEVYOUT #ENICOUT pic.twitter.com/poQ5P1JnSf

Jeez I haven’t celebrated like that watching Spurs for a long time! Please, please, please back Conte and let us push on from here. 9 league games unbeaten clearly shows he’s worth backing. #THFC
