Manchester United register comfortable win

Although it didn’t look like it for much of the first half, Manchester United eventually came out comfortable winners away to Brentford at the community stadium.

A terrible first half saw David De Gea called into actions several times, sparing the Red Devils’ blushes, but they more than made up for it in the second 45 minutes.

Goals from Anthony Elanga, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood saw them home, despite a minor tantrum from Cristiano Ronaldo when he was substituted with 20 minutes to go in the game.

It moves Manchester United to within two points of the top four, and level on points with Arsenal in 6th place in the Premier League, as the race for Champions League spots hot up.

United set new record

Now, in the process of sweeping aside Brentford, Manchester United set a new impressive record.

The Red Devils registered their 300th away win in the Premier League, becoming the first side to do so in the process.

Despite their recent struggles, it is hard to imagine that they do not stay out in front, with the side seemingly improving somewhat under Ralf Rangnick, and the influence of Cristiano Ronaldo unable to be written off.

And, in a season that everything seems to be going the way of their cross-city rivals, it is a small victory for the Red half of Manchester.
