Leicester vs Tottenham

Leicester are set to return to Premier League action on Wednesday evening.

The Foxes have been one of the sides most impacted by the wave of postponements sweeping the Premier League and have not lined out for a league match since back on the 28th of December when they beat Liverpool.

As a result, Leicester are well off the pace of most sides, needing to play at least two, and sometimes up to four games in hand to catch up with the rest of the division.

Should they win their games in hand, Leicester could find themselves just one point adrift of 7th place Manchester United.

However, their first game in hand is vs Tottenham on Wednesday, and Antonio Conte is continuing to grind out results with his new side, who are yet to lose a league game under him.

Wesley Fofana latest

Ahead of the Tottenham game, an update on Leicester’s Wesley Fofana has emerged.

The centre-back was injured in a pre-season friendly vs Villareal and has been out of action since.

Fofana has also clearly been a big miss for Brendan Rodgers’ side, who have looked pretty lackluster in defence this term.

Now though, the Leicester Mercury are reporting that Fofana remains on course to return to full training in February.

With Jonny Evans, Ricardo Pereira, Timothy Castagne, and Ryan Bertrand all out for Leicester at present, having Fofana back would be a big boost.
