The Leeds United faithful have taken to social media in their numbers on Saturday afternoon, to reveal their frustrations with a pair of members of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.

Bielsa and co. of course marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming relegation-battling Newcastle to Elland Road for what was no doubt viewed as an altogether winnable fixture ahead of kick-off.

When all was said and done, however, on the back of a pair of successive Premier League victories over the course of the last couple of weeks, the Whites were ultimately brought firmly back down to earth.

A disappointing 90 minutes in west Yorkshire ultimately saw Leeds put to the sword by a goal to nil.

Jonjo Shelvey proved match-winner on the day, as the Newcastle midfielder’s free-kick fifteen minutes from time wrong-footed Illan Meslier before finding its way into the bottom corner, securing what could prove to be a crucial three points for Eddie Howe’s troops in the process:

‘Never play for the club again’

In turn, on the back of the action coming to a close at Elland Road, it should come as little surprise to hear of the Leeds faithful making their frustrations with a frankly dreadful result crystal clear.

Taking to social media in their droves, the Peacocks faithful have taken aim at a whole host of the club’s stars, as well as boss Bielsa.

None, however, have been more widely targeted than attacking duo Dan James and Tyler Roberts, with just some of the Twitter highlights showcased below:
