Real Madrid look to have their eye on a number of up-and-coming young stars.

ESPN, citing Marca, have named five players who are said to be on Real Madrid’s radar.

Amongst these players is Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham impressing

Jude Bellingham would join Borussia Dortmund in July of 2020.

The young midfielder has previously shone in the Championship with Birmingham, yet, despite his limited experience, the now 18-year-old became an instant success in Germany.

So far, Bellingham had already notched an impressive 74 outings for Dortmund, in which he has scored eight goals and provided 14 assists.

The teenager has also impressed on the biggest stage, including putting on some superb displays vs Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season.

And, whilst he is not yet a guaranteed starter, Bellingham has already begun to showcase what an asset he will be for England or the next decade and beyond.

Four more players targeted by Real Madrid

Elsewhere, ESPN namedrop Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen, Ryan Gravenberch of Ajax, Wesley Fofana of Leicester and Endrick, a 15-year-old talent who is currently on the books for Brazilian outfit Palmeiras.

Said names, along with Bellingham, suggest that Real Madrid are focusing on replenishing their midfield.

This makes a fair bit of sense given the ages of key duo Luka Modric and Toni Kross. Despite their ages, though, the pair have remained integral to Madrid’s success this seaosn.

Los Blancos are currently top of La Liga, three points above second place Sevilla with a game in hand on their closet rivals.
