Real Madrid’s supporters have taken to social media in their droves on Sunday evening, to reveal their frustrations with Luka Jovic.
Los Blancos marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming relegation-battling Elche to the Bernabeu for what was widely viewed as a straightforward three points.
When all was said and done, however, Carlo Ancelotti’s men stumbled their way to a hugely disappointing share of the spoils.
It was Elche who opened the scoring on the day, taking the lead courtesy of the impressive Lucas Boye, before doubling their advantage fifteen minutes from time through Pere Milla:

Real’s quality, however, soon shone through.
First, Luka Modric pulled one back from the penalty spot, before the La Liga table-toppers avoided an embarrassing defeat when Eder Militao connected with Vinicius Jr’s fine cross deep into time added on:

‘Useless’
Despite their side’s eventual comeback efforts, though, it should come as little surprise to hear of the ever-demanding Blancos faithful making their disappointment clear on the back of the final whistle at the Bernabeu.
Taking to social media in numbers, Real’s supporters have taken aim at a host of their side’s stars, including Lucas Vazquez, Eden Hazard and Rodrygo.
None, however, has been more widely targeted in the game’s aftermath than hitman Luka Jovic.
Serbian international Jovic, introduced to the fray early in the 2nd-half owing to an injury picked up by Karim Benzema, struggled in his efforts to influence proceedings in any sort of notable manner.
In turn, the 24-year-old has been heavily scrutinised post-match, with many having gone as far as to call for Jovic to be moved on at the earliest opportunity:
Jovic out

Benzema’s injury looked bad and Jovic is a Disaster…idek what we’re gonna do…a loss vs Bilbao is all im expecting now, and an exit vs PSG

I am of the opinion that we rather play Bale as a striker than Jovic. No sense of urgency and lacks the mobility most times!!!

We’ve seen enough of Jovic… I don’t want to see him play again. Much prefer Mayoral tbh, shame he’s out onloan

Jovic had just 7 touches in 35mins.. see why we need to sell him and he isn’t a fighter. I just can’t rate him tbh…
