Bryan Gil has responded to a report that claims he wants to leave Tottenham.

The report in question comes from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

MD claim that they have learned that Gil wants to leave Tottenham at all costs, is not happy and is having a hard time adapting to life in England, where the culture is different:

On the surface, it is easy to see why some may believe this claim

The Spaniard has already been linked with a potential move this month and has struggled for any sort of regular action at the north London club.

Gil has featured in nine Premier League games this term, but those outings add up to a dismal total of just 86 minutes of action.

And, perhaps most concerningly, despite switching to a 4-4-2 system over the weekend vs Chelsea, Conte did not call upon Gil, a natural winger, to start on either flank – instead opting for Matt Doherty and Ryan Sessegnon.

Regardless, Gil has now responded to the claim from Mundo Deportivo that he wants to leave Tottenham by tweeting a message with three question marks and a laughing emoji:

Though Gil does not explicitly state this, his response does seem to suggest that the reports he wants to leave Tottenham are untrue.

Does Gil have a future at Tottenham?

Regardless of whether or not the report from MD is correct, the question must still be asked, does Gil does have a future at Spurs?

He is still 20 years of age and has plenty of time to develop. However, he is yet to show much quality at Tottenham.

And with Heung-min Son an obvious starter ahead of Gil at left-wing, when will he get the game time required to develop?
