Crystal Palace have enquired about the services of Bamba Dieng, according to reports in France.

RMC Sport report that Marseille need to sell the striker by the end of the winter transfer window for at least €10m.

It is added that no concrete offer has yet been made, but things could change in the coming days with Crystal Palace and West Ham having enquired and Newcastle thought to be very interested.

Who is Crystal Palace-linked Bamba Dieng?

Bamba Dieng would join Marseille’s B team in October of 2020 from Diambars FC.

Dieng was then handed his senior debut last season before becoming a key cog in the French outfit’s attack this term.

All told, Dieng has notched 20 appearances for Marseille this season, scoring four and assisting one in the process.

The 21-year-old is now away at the African Cup of Nations with Senegal. Dieng would come off the bench in Senegal’s latest outing to provide one assist as his side booked their spot in the AFCON quarter-finals.

Crystal Palace eye Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace look to be eyeing a move for Manchester United outcast, Donny van de Beek.

The Dutchman continues to struggle for any sort of regular game time at Old Trafford despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer leaving the club.

And now, the BBC report that Crystal Palace are interested in signing Donny van de Beek on loan until the end of the season. Talks between both parties are ongoing, but the player is known to want regular game time and is said to be open to a move to Selhurst Park.
