Arsenal may have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Juventus and Brazil midfielder Arthur as news has emerged that Juventus are chasing two new midfielders before the transfer deadline.
The Gunners were linked with a move for Brazilian Arthur for much of the January window, but a move fell through as Juve couldn’t seek out a replacement in time, and the Gunners couldn’t agree to the Old Lady’s demands.
Juventus have submitted an opening proposal to sign Denis Zakaria immediately: €7m add ons included. Borussia Moenchengladbach will decide soon. ⚪️⚫️ #Juventus

However, at least one of those has now changed, with Juventus seemingly close to securing a deal for Denis Zakaria, who is out of contract in the summer. Additionally, as per the reliable Romeo Agresti of Goal.com, they are still pursuing a move for Nahitan Nandez, who currently plays for Cagliari.
#Juventus e #Cagliari in giornata si sentiranno per #Nandez e #KaioJorge. I bianconeri stanno pensando seriamente di prendere l’uruguaiano oltre a #Zakaria ??? @GoalItalia

This pair of deals will be somewhat offset by the imminent sale of Rodrigo Bentancur to Tottenham Hotspur, but Juve may need more.
Tottenham have submitted their official bid for Rodrigo Bentancur around €19m plus €6m add ons. Talks in progress with Juventus to reach the agreement – to be continued on Sunday. ⚪️?? #THFC

And, with the Gunners still scrambling for moves come deadline day, they could be persuaded to reignite their interest in Arthur Melo.
