Arsenal may have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Juventus and Brazil midfielder Arthur as news has emerged that Juventus are chasing two new midfielders before the transfer deadline.

The Gunners were linked with a move for Brazilian Arthur for much of the January window, but a move fell through as Juve couldn’t seek out a replacement in time, and the Gunners couldn’t agree to the Old Lady’s demands.

However, at least one of those has now changed, with Juventus seemingly close to securing a deal for Denis Zakaria, who is out of contract in the summer. Additionally, as per the reliable Romeo Agresti of Goal.com, they are still pursuing a move for Nahitan Nandez, who currently plays for Cagliari.

This pair of deals will be somewhat offset by the imminent sale of Rodrigo Bentancur to Tottenham Hotspur, but Juve may need more.

And, with the Gunners still scrambling for moves come deadline day, they could be persuaded to reignite their interest in Arthur Melo.
