Juventus outcast Aaron Ramsey could yet seal a return to the Premier League this month, amid rumoured late-window interest on the part of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As per a whole host of sources across the continent late on Sunday evening, Molineux has emerged as a genuine potential landing spot for Ramsey ahead of tomorrow’s winter transfer deadline.

Bruno Lage has evidently identified his side’s ranks in the middle of the park as an area in need of reinforcement, with a bid, in turn, being considered by the hierarchy at Wolves.

It remains to be seen, however, whether Ramsey himself would take the possibility of a move to England’s west Midlands into consideration.

This comes with the Welshman, despite playing no part in the plans of Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, and with just five months remaining on his current contract in Turin, understood to have rejected the approaches of no fewer than three Premier League clubs already this month.

Palace also keen

And Wolves could yet be joined by a Premier League rival amid a last-gasp dash to add to the club’s options in the middle of the park ahead of the 2nd half of the campaign.

This comes amid further suggestions on Sunday evening that Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace have come back to the table, reigniting their own pursuit of Ramsey.

The Eagles represent one of the three aforementioned clubs understood to have been turned down by the 30-year-old this month, but, evidently, have not given up hope of convincing Ramsey to spend the remainder of the campaign in south London.
