A fresh insight into the efforts of Premier League giants Liverpool to land Fulham talent Fabio Carvalho has been provided late on Monday evening.

The info surrounding attacker Carvalho, linked with a move to Merseyside throughout the winter window, comes courtesy of the reliable Kevin Palmer.

It has been confirmed that, as things stand, negotiations remain firmly ongoing between the respective boards at Anfield and Craven Cottage.

This comes with the transfer team at the latter having made clear their ‘final demands’, in a bid to force Liverpool’s hand ahead of the window slamming shut in just a couple of hours’ time.

Optimism, in turn, remains that a deal will ultimately be struck, with Carvalho, a highly-regarded English youth international, understandably keen to seal a move to Merseyside.

Diaz sealed

Should Liverpool, in the end, manage to strike a deal for Carvalho, it would of course cap off a fine close to the transfer window on the part of those in a position of power at Anfield.

This comes after the Reds, on Sunday, unveiled their marquee addition of the January window.

As confirmed in a series of posts across the club’s social media platforms, Jurgen Klopp’s attacking ranks have been reinforced courtesy of the talents of FC Porto wide-man Luis Diaz, as part of a deal worth around 40 million euro, plus bonuses.
