Scottish giants Rangers have, on Monday evening, confirmed the impressive signing of Aaron Ramsey from Italian giants Juventus.

The subject of Welsh international Ramsey’s future had of course resurfaced as a major talking point across the European media over the course of the last 48 hours.

This came as it became increasingly clear that the former Arsenal standout did not feature in the plans of Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri over the 2nd half of the campaign.

A whole host of Premier League clubs, in turn, expressed an interest in his signature, with Crystal Palace and Burnley understood to have been most keen on a move.

As alluded to above, however, in the end, Ramsey opted to take his talents elsewhere.

As per a series of announcements across the club’s social media platforms late on Monday evening, Scottish champions Rangers have beaten out the competition to land the highly-sought after midfielder on loan.

Ramsey has put pen to paper on a deal through the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign, with the Gers boasting an option to make the move permanent come the summer.

Amad off the mark

Ramsey’s arrival of course caps off something of a whirlwind close to the January transfer window at Ibrox.

This comes with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s ranks having been further added to by the additions of both explosive starlet Amad Diallo and Polish youth international Mateusz Zukowski.

The former even managed to cap his debut outing in the colours of the Glaswegian giants with a goal in the club’s thrilling 3-3 stalemate with Ross County at the weekend:
