Fantasy Premier League managers have been handed a boost as a pair of popular names have been handed the all-clear to return to action ahead of the next round of Premier League fixtures.

This years edition of the tournament has been plagued by COVID-19 absentees and postponements, meaning that the end of season run-in will be even harder to navigate than usual with games being rescheduled on a constant basis.

However, two popular figures could be on their way back. Firstly, Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhutl has confirmed the return of Tino Livramento from a knee injury, which has kept him out since late December.

Previously in almost every manager’s team, his selection has dropped to just 10% since his injury, but he has now returned, meaning that that number should shoot up again.

Son returns too

In more good news for FPL fans, Heung-Min Son has returned to training following several weeks out with a hamstring strain that saw him miss two Premier League clashes.

Still at just 12% ownership, it could be a good time to bring him back into the fold, with some favourable Tottenham fixtures on the horizon and plenty of double gameweeks to come.
