Manchester United’s fans have taken to social media in their droves on Sunday, to respond to the latest performance of midfield loanee James Garner.
For those not aware, Garner was back in action a short time ago.
This came as Nottingham Forest welcomed tournament holders Leicester City to the City Ground, for an FA Cup 4th-round clash.
After sending Arsenal packing in the competition’s previous round last month, the Reds did likewise to their Leicester counterparts on Sunday, upsetting the odds to eventually emerge on the right side of a dominant 4-1 result:

And the aforementioned Garner proved central to such efforts.
Handed his latest start in the middle of the park, the Manchester United loanee shone bright once more, bagging an assist amid a fine all-round showing:

83% pass accuracy

‘He’s ready’
And, as alluded to above, those of a Manchester United persuasion have since taken full notice of Garner’s impressive exploits.
Taking to Twitter in numbers on Sunday evening, Red Devils supporters have pleaded for the club’s emerging midfield talent to finally be handed the opportunity to impress back at Old Trafford next season, amid a dearth of quality options in the middle of the park:
James Garner has been key to knocking out Arsenal and now Leicester. Good passer, tackler and consistent with his delivery. Should be playing for United next season.

Our loanee players take better set-pieces than our first team squad. Embarrassing!
Sell VDB next summer & replace him with Garner. He is clearly ready for #MUFC. Sell one of AWB/Dalot & bring back Laird. He is way better RB than the 2 we have now.

James Garner walks straight into this team next season!

Said a few weeks ago on here that James Garner deserves a chance in the summer to nail down a spot in the United first team. The kid can deliver a ball from set pieces which is something we are lacking at the moment. 124 corners & no goals ? #MUFC

Jimmy Garner class again today I’m hearing? Should be in the #mufc setup next season.

I don’t care what anybody says James Garner is miles better than both Mcfred combined.
