Premier League title-chasers Liverpool look set to continue with plans to put in place the next wave of attacking players to be unleased on the top flight of English football as the Reds plan further negotiations for Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano’s Liverpool column via Anfield Watch, Jürgen Klopp is adamant at securing the England youth international as soon as possible in preparations to add him into the first-team ranks on Merseyside next season.

Carvalho came within hours of joining Liverpool during the January transfer window only for the deal to break down in the 11th hour after the last bit of paperwork could not be completed in time, but that has not deterred the German headmaster in his attempts to prize the starlet away from Craven Cottage and his summer arrival at Anfield is all but guaranteed at this stage.

And the Reds are said to be pushing for terms to be struck in a position most favorable to them according to Romano, who stated: “In the next few days, a further meeting is scheduled with all the parties to find a solution: the agreement on personal terms with Carvalho is ready, Liverpool would like to confirm it as soon as possible and to also complete the agreement with Fulham for compensation, given that Fabio would be available as a free agent in the summer.”

Liverpool business could signal unfortunate outgoing business

With Liverpool securing a deal for Colombian star forward Luis Díaz in a move that set the Reds back a reported €40m upfront plus €20m in add-ons, further business for another attacking player via Fabio Carvalho could signal the coming reality that one of their current star crop may part ways with their Anfield love affair.

Sadio Mane will be hoping his Senegal side will outlast Mo Salah's Egypt

That star could well be Senegalese icon Sadio Mané after the player has gone on record saying that he could welcome a move away from Liverpool should the right offer from Spain come along.

Mané has yet to return to action for the Reds after celebrating Senegal’s AFCON 2021 triumph at the expense of Liverpool clubmate Mohamed Salah, with the winger now stating that he is open to a potential move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona should either Spanish giant make an official move to acquire his services this summer.

Now 29-years-old and in the pomp of his club career on the back of international success, Mané could look to test himself away from English shores after winning nearly every available club honor with Liverpool during his highly-successful stint on Merseyside.
