Leeds United have been dealt an altogether concerning fresh blow on the personnel front, during the club’s meeting with Everton on Saturday.

The player to have been forced to make way at Goodison Park? Stuart Dallas.

Inside the opening ten minutes of action, versatile stopper Dallas pulled up with what appeared to be a muscular issue.

After attempting to run the problem off, the North Irishman was eventually left with no choice but to succumb to the pain, before being replaced by youngster Leo Hjelde.

Dallas of course adds to a seemingly never-ending string of injury concerns in Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites squad this season, joining the likes of key performers Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford on the treatment table in west Yorkshire.

Coleman amongst the goals

Their early personnel woes, though, actually mark just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Leeds’ problems thus far on Merseyside.

This comes with the Peacocks having also headed in at the interval trailing by two goals to nil.

Seamus Coleman opened the afternoon’s scoring with ten minutes on the clock, before Michael Keane put hosts Everton in firm control midway through the half, courtesy of a fine header.

Rodrigo, for his part, has looked one of few shining lights for Leeds, rattling the crossbar not once, but twice already at Goodison, amid the desperate attempts of the visitors to mount an unlikely comeback.
