Ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola discussed a number of topics in his presser, including Jack Grealish’s injury issue.

On injury news in general, Pep stated: “We are going to train now in two hours and we will speak with the doctors.”

Then when asked about Jack Grealish specifically, the Spaniard stated: “I am not a doctor, I am sorry. The shin, the symptoms seem much less than last season (at Villa).

“I didn’t talk with the doctor but we will see. I don’t think he will be ready for tomorrow but hopefully for the next weeks.

Manchester City vs Tottenham

Manchester City head into the Tottenham game boasting a nine-point lead atop of the Premier League.

However, as Liverpool do have a game in hand, that gap could be reduced to six points fairly quickly.

And with Liverpool in fine form, Man City cannot really afford to drop any points vs Tottenham, especially as Liverpool have a much easier tie vs Norwich this weekend.

Manchester City are also facing Spurs at a pretty good time. Antonio Conte’s side have slipped down to 8th in the Premier League table after losing their last three league matches.

Tottenham can still climb back into the European places by winning their games in hand, but recent form suggests they will not be able to do so.
