Tottenham have been dealt a massive injury blow during their Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.
Antonio Conte’s side are currently locked in action with the Lancashire outfit, looking to add to their impressive win against Manchester City at the weekend, in what was a statement win for their chances of finishing in the top four and guarantee Champions League football next season in the process.
It has been a game of few chances however, with a Harry Kane header coming back off of the Burnley crossbar by far the closest either side have come to scoring.

But there was a more worrying issue.
Bentancur pulls up lame
The issue began early into the first half, when winter addition Rodrigo Bentancur, who was excellent against Manchester City, was left wrong-footed by a smart turn by Josh Brownhill.
Bentancur has just slipped awkwardly on the wet pitch, almost doing the splits, and instantly went down holding his thigh. That did not look pleasant. Getting treatment now. https://t.co/fpPU1xbyHS

And while he was able to continue until half time, he could not carry on any further, making way for Harry Winks at the interval.
A change at the break.

This leaves Antonio Conte with a headache should it prove to rule the Uruguayan out for longer than the period between this and the next game, since Bentancur had already become a pivotal part of the Spurs side in his short stint with the north London outfit.
With a trip to Elland Road and the energetic Leeds United at the weekend, Bentancur could prove a big miss.
