Viewers of Liverpool’s meeting with West Ham United on Saturday have taken to social media, to express concern over the club’s frontline.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops were of course back in action a short time ago.
After following up the club’s Carabao Cup triumph last weekend by booking their spot in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup during the week, the Reds turned their attentions back towards matters in the Premier League, in a showdown with top-4 chasing West Ham.
And, when all was said and done, the scintillating stretch of form being enjoyed by Klopp and co. only continued, en route to an eventual 1-0 win.
The game’s telling moment was forthcoming just shy of the half-hour mark, when Trent Alexander-Arnold’s low delivery across the visitors’ area was slotted home by the arriving Sadio Mane:

Reds stars targeted
As alluded to above, though, despite their side eventually doing enough to get the job done on Saturday, many of a Liverpool persuasion were joined by neutral viewers of the clash in expressing concern over the Merseysiders’ attack.
This came as all of Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Klopp’s chosen trident versus West Ham, were accused of persistent ‘selfishness’ in front of goal.

Liverpool attack didn’t need a third selfish player tbh ? The current front three are all very greedy

All the front 3 ya Liverpool were selfish today. They didn’t pass to each other.

That Liverpool attack needs someone less selfish like Firmino because their current attackers have been far too selfish with so many missed opportunities
— RK (@RidarKh) March 5, 2022
The only downside to these Liverpool forwards is how greedy they are

Good we got the win but Salah and Mane were far too selfish today. Diaz was free on so many occasions #LFC

What kind of selfish football were Liverpool forwards involve in tonight. Jesus! Mane, salah and diaz gameplay was a head-scratcher. #LIVWHU #bbcfootball #LFC. They need to do better. race for the title continues to tighten

Sense??? that front 3 doesn’t work. Salah wants to showcase why he’s the best at liverpool, Mane wants to prove critics wrong about him being waste and luiz diaz justs wanna score. That’s why it doesn’t work, all are out to prove something nd that makes them selfish

Our attackers are now selfish.
Especially Diaz and Salah
