Fabinho has been discussing Liverpool’s chances of clinching the quadruple.

Liverpool would, of course, win the League Cup last month, seeing off Chelsea in an intense penalty shootout that was ended by Kepa Arrizabalaga skying his spot-kick.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after they beat Norwich in the 5th round, are still going strong in the Champions League and are keeping the pressure on current Premier League leaders, Manchester City.

So, does Fabinho think Liverpool have a chance of clinching the quadruple? When asked about it on Monday, the Brazilian stated:

“It’s something new for us, it was the first time I played a domestic final for Liverpool and first time in FA Cup quarter-finals. It’s important to be in last phase of competitions. We are Liverpool – we have to try to win everything.”

Liverpool vs Inter Milan

Liverpool’s next outing on the road to a potential quadruple is a Champions League affair with Inter Milan.

Liverpool headed into the clash, which is at Anfield, in fine form and looking very likely to make into the quarter-finals.

The two sides faced off at the San Siro in the reverse leg last month, with Liverpool coming away with a 2-0 win.

Of course, with away goals now gone, the two-nil lead is not as valuable as it would have been last campaign, but a Liverpool win this time around still looks likely.
