Arsenal players are set for a financial boost if they are able to qualify for the Champions League this season.
As per the Daily Mail, Arsenal’s players will be in line for huge lump sum bonuses worth up to £500,000 each if they can get the club back into the Champions League for the first time since 2017.
It is added that a one-off bonus would be due to the Arsenal squad for finishing in one of the top-four spots.
That is then divided among Arteta’s squad, with the amount each player receives is calculated on a pro-rata basis with the top figure around the £500,000 mark.
Furthermore, it is believed that some Arsenal players have clauses separately written into their contracts which will see their weekly wages automatically increase for the campaign during which the club are playing in the Champions League group stages.

Will Arsenal be able to finish in the top-four?
First and foremost, though, Arsenal actually need to secure that 4th spot.
The Gunners are currently occupying that spot and are one point above 5th place Manchester United with three games in hand.
However, Mikel Arteta’s side do have a number of tough tests coming up, including vs Leicester this weekend.
