Klopp also gave an update on Mohamed Salah’s contract situation: “Mo expects this club to be ambitious. We cannot do much more. It is Mo’s decision. It is all fine from my point of view. Nothing happened further, no signing or rejection. We just have to wait, there’s no rush.”
Brighton vs Liverpool
Liverpool head into the game with Brighton as the Premier League’s most in-form side, though they did lose to Inter Milan in the Champions League earlier this week.
Regardless of that result, Liverpool have won five league games on the bounce and are currently the top scorers in the English top-flight.
However, they remain six points behind league leaders Manchester City with a game in hand.
So, it is imperative that Liverpool continue to put pressure on their title rivals by seeing off Brighton ahead of City’s meeting with Crystal Palace on Monday.
Brighton have lost their last four Premier League ties and have dropped down to 13th in the division.
