Jurgen Klopp spoke to the press on Friday morning ahead of Liverpool’s meeting with Nottingham Forest.

The Reds are set to face off with Nottingham Forest at 6 pm UK time this Sunday.

And it is bad news for both Liverpool and England, with Trent Alexander-Arnold out with a hamstring problem.

Klopp added that Mohamed Salah also had an issue with his foot again:

Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool

Liverpool have paid little attention to the domestic cups since Klopp arrived at the club, often fielding much weaker teams filled with under-23 stars.

However, the German appears to have changed tactic this season and is seemingly very keen to go as far as possible in every competition.

Liverpool have already secured the League Cup this year, beating Chelsea in the final, and are now into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The Merseysiders would beat Shrewsbury, Cardiff and Norwich to make it to the last eight – one of the easiest runs of any side still left in the competition.

Nottingham Forest, though, have already taken the scalp of two Premier League sides this term, knocking out Arsenal and then Leicester City in the 3rd and 4th rounds.
