Reece James has sent out a message regarding Tammy Abraham after his brace vs Lazio on Sunday.

The Englishman made the switch to the Serie A over the summer after falling out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.

Abraham has since taken the Italian top-flight by storm and has already netted 23 times for Roma this term – the most of any player in their debut season for the club:

Abraham’s latest two goals would come against Lazio as Roma earned a 3-0 win thanks to a brace from Tammy and a Lorenzo Pellegrini effort.

After the match, Reece James, a former Chelsea teammate of the striker, put out the following message on his Instagram story:

“Number don’t lie. Pay some respect please.”

Mourinho demands more from Tammy Abraham

Despite picking up a 3-0 win on the day and Abraham scoring a brace, Jose Mourinho has demanded more from his no.9:

“Great performance,” Mourinho said.

“Today was really special because it seemed that everything we had planned was put on the field, Lazio in the second half tried to play with pride but we never lost control. No doubt, the boys deserved the victory.

“When you say Abraham is fantastic I disagree, he can do even more. I demand a lot of him because I know his potential, I’m not talking about goals but he must play every game with this attitude.”
