Spanish giants Real Madrid have, on Friday, added yet another highly-regarded young Brazilian talent to the club’s ranks.

The player in question? Vinicius Tobias.

As confirmed by a host of reliable sources, 18-year-old Vinicius has agreed to swap Ukrainian heavyweights Shakhtar Donetsk for the Bernabeu, on loan through the summer of 2023.

From here, Real will have the option to make the full-back’s arrival permanent, with a 5-year contract having already been agreed upon between the two parties.

Vinicius, for his part, is expected to link up with Los Blancos’ Castilla youth setup upon his arrival in the Spanish capital.

Selecao well represented

Vinicius Tobías, as alluded to above, adds ever further to the crop of explosive up-and-coming Brazilian talent currently plying their trade on the Blanco half of Madrid.

The most high-profile, without question, comes in the form of Vinicius Jr, namesake of the club’s latest addition, and currently in the midst of something of a breakout campaign when it comes to finished product.

Also a regular feature in Carlo Ancelotti’s first-team setup is fellow attacker Rodrygo, brought in as part of a big-money move from Santos in 2019.

And last up comes Reinier, set to return to base at the Bernabeu this summer on the back of an underwhelming two-year loan stint in Germany with Borussia Dortmund.
