Manchester United will take on Leicester City in Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off. Ralf Rangnick has made a Harry Maguire prediction ahead of the game.

Today’s match is a must-win for the fallen giants if they are to stand any chance of rescuing their woeful season.

The signings of Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane were expected to take United to the next level and see them mount a proper title challenge.

Ultimately, though, the Red Devils have declined this season, being knocked out of all cup competitions already, with the chance to secure fourth place in the Premier League the only thing left to fight for.

Even finishing fourth seems like something of a long shot at this point, though. Manchester United are four points off Arsenal right now, with the Gunners also boasting a game in hand.

Rangnick makes Maguire prediction

Now, ahead of the game, Ralf Rangnick has been speaking about Harry Maguire.

The United captain is having a pretty awful season for his club and, despite continuing to impress for England, was booed by Three Lions fans before their match with Ivory Coast earlier this week.

But despite the majority of Maguire’s poor form coming in a United shirt, Rangnick believes that their fans will get behind Maguire this weekend: “I think that this [#mufc fans get behind Maguire] will happen.

“As far as I have met the experience with our great supporters, with our Red Army, I’m pretty sure that they will support not only Harry but the whole team as they did in the last two games.”
