Footage to have come to the fore on Sunday evening has unveiled the extent of the passionate celebrations enjoyed by three members of Everton’s squad, on the back of the club’s win over Manchester United.

Frank Lampard’s troops, of course, welcomed the Red Devils to Goodison Park yesterday afternoon.

Amid the club’s ongoing battle to stave off the drop, the Toffees headed into proceedings desperate for a bounce-back result, fresh off the back of a damaging defeat at the hands of Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

And, to their credit, when all was said and done on Merseyside, emerge triumphant is precisely what Everton went on to do.

A solitary goal, netted by Anthony Gordon inside the opening half hour of action, ultimately proved enough to guide the day’s hosts beyond United, to just a 2nd win in seven across all competitions:

And now, as alluded to above, a video to have surfaced on social media this evening has provided an insight into just how much their latest three-point haul meant to Everton’s stars.

The clip in question showcases all of Vitaliy Mykolenko, Alex Iwobi and Richarlison collapsing to the turf on the back of the full-time whistle, amid chaotic celebrations across Goodison Park:

Burnley slip up

So, what effect has Everton’s downing of United had on the situation at the foot of the Premier League table?

Well, first off, it guided the Blues a full four points clear of Burnley in 18th, ahead of the Clarets playing out their game in hand against basement dwellers Norwich City this afternoon.

And, in a further boost to the survival hopes of Lampard and co, this advantage has since remained intact, owing to Burnley slipping to a surprise 2-0 defeat at Carrow Road.
