Word stemming from the Italian media this weekend has pointed towards Manchester United as being amongst the potential destinations for soon-to-be former Juventus star Paulo Dybala this summer.

The long-awaited bombshell news surrounding Argentine international Dybala was of course made official late last month.

On the back of a meeting between those in a position of power at the Juventus Stadium, and the representatives of the club’s long-time star attacker, the conclusion was reached that the best route forward would be for Dybala’s terms in Turin not to be renewed.

The 28-year-old, as a result, is in line to depart as a free agent upon the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign.

So, just where could Dybala end up next? A whole host of top clubs from across the continent have inevitably been tipped as potential landing spots over the course of the last couple of weeks, including the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

And now, as alluded to above, another name has been added to the list of the South American’s potential suitors.

The club in question? Manchester United.

As per a report from Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, the Red Devils are expected to make their interest in Dybala’s services clear soon.

This comes with incoming manager Erik ten Hag primed to target players of an elite technical level, in a bid to implement his free-flowing brand of football at Old Trafford.

Dybala, in turn, is labelled a ‘credible goal’ for United ahead of next season.

Juve stutter

As his time in the colours of Juventus continues to inch towards its imminent close, Dybala, yesterday evening, was nevertheless afforded his latest start by boss Massimiliano Allegri.

This came as the Bianconeri welcomed Bologna to the Allianz Stadium, eyeing an important three-point haul amid the club’s ongoing pursuit of a top-4 finish in Serie A.

When all was said and done, however, Juve and Dybala alike flattered to deceive, en route to a 1-1 stalemate, during which the Old Lady’s no.10 was hauled off with less than an hour on the clock.
