How Antonio Conte reacted to Tottenham’s draw with Brentford has been revealed.
Spurs faced off with Brentford on Saturday evening, looking to bounce back from their 1-0 loss at the hands of Brighton in their previous clash.
However, when all was said and done, Conte and co. were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
The Lilywhites, after recently being so lethal in front of goal vs the likes of Leeds, Everton and Newcastle, were unable to score a single goal for the second league game running.
In fact, despite having Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski up top, Tottenham did not even muster a single shot on target when facing Brentford – drawing the match 0-0.
Now, how Antonio Conte reacted to the damaging draw in the Tottenham dressing room has been revealed.
Football.london report that Conte barely spoke a word to his Spurs squad in the changing room after their latest dismal display.
Tottenham’s top-four hopes
After drawing with Brentford, Tottenham’s top-four hopes have taken a major beating.
This comes with Arsenal having dispatched Manchester United with ease in Saturday’s early kick-off.
That result moved Arsenal into 4th, two points clear of Spurs and six points clear of a downtrodden Manchester United side with five league games left to play.
Of course, a two-point deficit is not that hard to overturn, especially when Arsenal and Tottenham still need to face off once more before the campaign draws to a close.
But the declining displays of Tottenham, especially going forward, will no doubt concern Antonio Conte and co.
