Four Premier League clubs have reportedly made contact for soon-to-be out-of-contract Juventus star Paulo Dybala, according to ESPN.

Dybala is out of contract this summer with the Turin side, and talks have shown no signs of reaching an agreement between the club and the Argentine, meaning that his 7 year stint with the Old Lady is set to come to an abrupt end.

And while there is interest from Serie A rivals Inter Milan, there is also plenty of Premier League interest, with Tottenham the first to show for the Argentine.

According to James Olley, writer for ESPN, Spurs have been joined in their chase for Dybala by north London rivals Arsenal, as well as Manchester United and Newcastle United.

‘Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle have all asked to be kept informed of the situation while Tottenham made contact some time ago through the club’s managing director of football, Fabio Paratici’, he reports.

Olley does warn, however, that nothing is at an advanced stage and all clubs are merely enquiring at present.

Where should Dybala go?

Arsenal at present seem the most likely to finish in the top 4 and therefore offer Champions League football, but seemingly have other targets for their forward line, notably Gabriel Jesus. Meanwhile, Newcastle United are still well below the level that the creative Argentine would be used to during his time with Juve.

This leaves Tottenham and Manchester United out of the Premier League sides, and of the two there is more security with Antonio Conte should he remain in north London, with Conte having spent a long time watching Dybala during his time in the Serie A and Spurs clearly targeting the Serie A market in the past two transfer windows.

But, it is hard to see who in the Spurs front 3 he replaces on current form.
