HOT: Mike Jackson

It has been some turnaround for Burnley, who looked dead and buried but have shown life in the post Sean Dyche era with three straight wins under new boss Mike Jackson.

The results have left the Lancashire club two points clear of the relegation zone, though Everton have a game in hand on the Clarets, while they have also dragged Leeds United back into the fight.

With Jackson producing miraculous performances, though, when it comes to relegation this season they just might beat it.

HOT: Gabriel Jesus

From a team that cannot stop winning to a man who cannot stop scoring, and Gabriel Jesus appears to have taken news of a potential arrival of Erling Haaland personally. The Brazilian followed up his four-goal performance last weekend with a goal against Real Madrid, and bagged another in Manchester City’s demolition of Leeds.

He has made a strong case to start in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening.

HOT: Arsenal

After three defeats on the bounce, Arsenal looked dead and buried in the hunt for fourth place, but wins over Manchester United and Chelsea put the pressure firmly back on the Gunners.

And, while not pretty against West Ham, they delivered another three points at the London Stadium to take them one step closer to welcoming Champions League football back to the Emirates Stadium.

NOT: Norwich

The first club to be officially relegated from the Premier League this season, it has been another disappointing campaign for the yo-yo-ing Norwich City.

For Dean Smith, the disappointment was doubled, as he was sent down by former side Aston Villa in a tame 2-0 affair. While they will be hoping to bounce straight back up, the Canaries need to find a way to be more competitive when they come up.

NOT: Wolves

‘We didn’t come to play. We came to watch Brighton play. It was the worst performance since the first day [I arrived].’

It was a scathing but accurate appraisal of his side by Wolves boss Bruno Lage, who watched his side fall to a horrid 3-0 loss at home at the hands of Brighton and has seen the wheels rather fall off a promising looking campaign.

1 win in 5 has seen them drop from Champions League outsiders to Conference League hopefuls with 4 games to go, though on current form even that looks unlikely.

NOT: The Old Trafford crowd

There was a planned protest against the Glazer family due to take place in the 73rd minute but, with their side 3-0 up, the vast majority chose to stay in their seats. It is yet another contradiction from a fanbase that tend to protest when the going gets tough, and lap up the good times without issue.
