Chelsea will face off with Wolves at Stamford Bridge in one of Saturday’s 3 pm Premier League kick-offs.

Ahead of the clash, Tuchel discussed a number of topics in his presser, including team news. The German confirmed that four players will miss the Wolves tie in the form of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi: “For N’Golo it comes too early. Jorgi is out. Callum is still out and Ben Chilwell is out. That is pretty much it.”

Tuchel also provided a takeover update during his presser: “I have been told last week that we have a preferred bidder and things are moving forward. I am focused on the pitch, after what I heard last week I am confident.

“When the situation is clear you can take actions and make judgements otherwise you are in a passive role. This is what we are, we try to make the smallest issue possible but it is always there. We want a forward-thinking situation where we know what the circumstances are in improving the team.”

Chelsea vs Wolves

Chelsea head into the Wolves game with little left to play for in the Premier League.

The Blues are currently 3rd in the English top-flight and, though their form has been patchy of late, it still seems unlikely they will be caught by Tottenham with just four games left to play.

Spurs are five points off Chelsea and one of their final four games comes vs 4th-place Arsenal, meaning at least one of the two teams below Chelsea is guaranteed to drop points before the end of the campaign.

As for Wolves, they are still in with an outside shot of securing a Europa Conference League place.

Bruno Lage’s side are 8th in the PL, just three points off West Ham with a game in hand.
