Mikel Arteta spoke to the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Arsenal’s next outing.
Arsenal will face off with Leeds United at the Emirates in Sunday’s early Premier League kick-off.
Ahead of the clash, Arteta discussed a number of topics in his presser, including team news. And it was a largely positive update from Arteta who stated that Ben White is in contention to feature whilst everyone else is ok: “Ben White is still in contention. He needs to train tomorrow. For the rest no news. Everyone should be ok.”
Arteta was also asked what he wants Arsenal to improve this week compared to their display vs West Ham, to which he said: “Hopefully we can play better with he ball than what we did. It’s true that we did a lot of good things in that game to earn the right to win it. Every game has different demands.”
Arsenal vs Leeds United
Arsenal’s next outing with Leeds United is a huge one in the race for Champions League football..
The Gunners head into the weekend’s action having won three on the bounce to once again move back into the top-four.
The race for 4th is still very tight, however, with Tottenham just two points behind. And, with a big north London derby still to come next week, it is vital Arsenal do not drop any points before then.
However, though Leeds were dispatched with ease by Manchester City last weekend, they are expected to be a much tougher test for Arsenal, with the Peacocks a much-improved outfit since Jesse Marsch took the reins at Elland Road.
