Arnaut Danjuma has asked Villarreal to let him leave this summer, according to El Periódico Mediterráneo.

Following his move from Bournemouth to Castellón, the Dutch winger has flourished and attracted lots of major interest.

However, he does not feel settled in Spain and has asked the Yellow Subramine to accept permanent offers which should arrive this summer.

Danjuma’s agent working on move away

Danjuma has had an excellent season at Villarreal scoring 10 goals in 23 La Liga appearances and six times in the Champions League.

His agent has started work on seeking a move away and is in contact with several top European clubs.

Danjuma’s departure will only be possible if an important offer arrives on the table of Villarreal.

It is reported that it would take an offer of €40 million to prise him away from the club.

Liverpool’s interest in the winger

Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and even PSG have all been linked with the winger.

A move away for Danjuma is now just a question of money, with the player willing to do everything possible to secure a transfer.

Speaking about a potential move away, he revealed that Liverpool were closely following him.

He told Ziggo Sports: “I’ve never had contacts with clubs or anything like that during the season.

I always know about the situation after the season.

I don’t want to get involved during the season.

“But I was informed that Liverpool were following me closely.”
