Manchester City are continuing to push ahead with their plans to refresh their squad for the new season.

The Premier League champions have already signed Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland and have also agreed a deal for Kalvin Phillips.

Now, their focus appears to be on a left-back and Brighton’s Marc Cucurella is a player who is high on their list of targets.

Cucurella drops Man City hint

Cucurella has dropped a big hint over his desire to move to the Etihad.

The defender liked a post on Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram who was reporting that he was City’s next top target.

Last week, Romano reported that Pep Guardiola’s side were preparing their opening offer for Cucurella.

Having now wrapped up a deal for Phillips, their attention can turn to doing a deal with Brighton.

It was reported earlier this month that the Segulls wanted £50 million for the player.

Chelsea prepare opening bid for Sterling

Meanwhile, in terms of outgoings, Sterling could be a player who raises big funds for Man City.

Chelsea are ready to make their opening offer for Raheem Sterling, according to the Telegraph.

It is understood that City value him between £50 million and £60 million.

They have also agreed a £45 million deal with Arsenal for Gabriel Jesus.
